I have been with Optimism Supported Housing since 28th, September 2021. Coming from a family breakdown was hard but having Optimism Housing was positive. I have been helped, Supported and guided whilst being there.

I have the information and understanding of how to sustain a tenancy with regular 1-2-1 sessions with my support worker or a member of staff. We talk about my emotional well-being and the goals that I want to achieve in the near future by breaking down the goal into small steps.

Since being Optimism Supported Housing, I have passed my PTS training and advanced with further education which I am happy about. They helped by having conversations with the training providers whilst I had a bump on the road, helped book drug & alcohol tests, and supported me with travel money.
